JUNE 8 UPDATE
Pennsylvania is now in the YELLOW. What does this mean for KleinLife?
The following programs are OPEN while following CDC guidelines:
• Summer Day Camp
• Home Delivered Meals
• In Home Support Program
• Farmers’ Market (Online Ordering Only – COMING SOON)
• Business Rentals (i.e. Ann Kids Child Care, Eastern Approach Rehabilitation Center, Mitzvah Food Pantry)
The following programs are CLOSED to the public:
• Gym
• Pool
• In-person programs (i.e. Active Adult Life programs, socialization rentals)
Our staff is working both virtually and in the office following CDC guidelines. Our maintenance department is still working hard at keeping our building clean and safe.
We look forward to serving you at all of our locations when we can operate at a normal capacity. Stay safe!

MARCH 19 UPDATE
Due to COVID-19, KleinLife has ceased its senior center operations, but our Home Delivered Meals program is still operating and continues to be an essential need for our homebound seniors.
Many of our daily participants who attended the congregant meal program are signing on for home delivery on top of our regular clients. We are in desperate need of delivery drivers.
Every Tuesday during the crisis, we are asking for volunteers to help us deliver two week’s worth of meals to over 600 senior clients. TUESDAY, APRIL 7, we need EXTRA HELP delivering Passover meals and an extra bag of Passover items. WE NEED YOU!
Your safety is just as important to us as our seniors. To reduce exposure:

Volunteers will come on a specific time schedule (coordinated by phone, text or email), so we can avoid everyone coming at once
Volunteers will call when they arrive at KleinLife: Northeast Philadelphia’s parking lot
Staff will bring latex gloves, packed meals, and routes outside by our loading dock area where volunteers will have the ability to load meals into their cars with no contact.
After delivery, emptied freezer bags will be dropped off at KleinLife and left on the loading dock.

MARCH 16 UPDATE
Due to the Philadelphia government mandate, we are closing our building until further notice starting at 5:00pm today (Monday, March 16).
Our staff in our Home Delivered Meals and In-Home Support Program are continuing to work to make sure that isolated seniors are able to be homebound safely. You may contact them at 215-698-7300 x196 (Home Delivered Meals) or x180 (In-Home Support Program).

MARCH 13 UPDATE
Our Northeast Philadelphia location is open for all rentals, for members to use our athletic facility, and for our Home Delivered Meals program.
Active Adult Life (seniors) Programs and before- and after-care (KidSpace) are canceled until at least Friday, March 27.

IMPORTANT
In an effort to take necessary safety precautions for our seniors, the most vulnerable to the Coronavirus, KleinLife is canceling all Active Adult Life programs as of Wednesday, March 11 until at least Friday, March 27.
WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?
• OUR NORTHEAST PHILADELPHIA BUILDING IS OPEN to the public including rentals and children programming such as KidSpace.
• Our athletic facility is open, but no senior exercise classes will be held.
• Home Delivered Meals is still available for pick up & delivery with at least 24-hour notice. If you need frozen meals, please call 267-345-7787.
Please note that we are taking a proactive approach and this is strictly precautionary. Staff is still working and they are able to take your questions.
