TRIP: Costuming the Crown at Winterthur

Spend the day at wonderful Winterthur- the estate of Henry Francis DuPont. We will tour the Winterthur galleries and view the exhibit “Costuming the Crown”. From the dazzling gold of Queen Elizabeth’s coronation robe to the simple sophistication of Princess Margaret’s wedding dress, from the majesty of royal crowns and tiaras to the comfort of clothes worn in private family moments, Costuming THE CROWN will feature 40 iconic costumes from the beloved Emmy® award-winning Netflix series, a dramatized history of the reign of Queen Elizabeth II. Our day will also include a narrated garden tram tour and a tour of the DuPont home.

Lunch is available for purchase at the Pavilion cafeteria. Price includes restroom equipped; air-conditioned coach bus transportation, admission and gratuities.
