12:30pm - 1:30pm
at KleinLife: Northeast Philadelphia
Much has been said about the Americans who lived through World War II. Frequently referred to as “The Greatest Generation”, they displayed a sense of national unity and purpose that is rarely seen in contemporary America.
We will review newspaper clippings, photographs of homeland activities, and memorabilia of the war years in order to get a sense of how things were for American citizens on the home front during that time. We will also study actual newspaper headlines from the war years to learn more about the great events that shaped the war.
Monday, November 7, 14, 21, 28, December 5 & 12 • 12:30pm • $36/6 sessions
