A Strength in Jewish Pride During Chanukah
A special holiday recognizing just one of the many battles Jews have faced and why it's important to be proud.
KleinLife’s Jewish Children’s Sunday School prepares for Chanukah by crafting, singing, and eating sufganiyot.
Dear All,
Chanukah commemorates when Jews had risen up against their Greek-Syrian oppressors in the Maccabean Revolt. The themes within this history dating back to around 200 B.C. feel familiar to today’s world events.
At a time when anti-Semitism is on the rise, educating our children about the essence and pride of their Jewish identity is the most important thing we can do. At KleinLife, we teach children and their parents about being Jewish. We help develop a strong sense of identity in our kids to stand firm, know their origins, and embrace their cultural legacy. Education is a very potent weapon against anti-Semitism, and as we teach our children who they are and where they come from, we equip them with the strength to combat anti-Semitism and stand tall in their beliefs.
KleinLife is proud to be Jewish and may we keep this pride going from generation to generation (l’dor v’dor).
Happy Chanukah!
